
Small Claims Court Settlement Conference.
The
purposes of a Small Claims Court Settlement Conference are to
resolve to narrow the issues in the action; to expedite the
disposition of the action; to encourage settlement of the action; to
assist the parties in effective preparation for trial; and to
provide full disclosure between the parties of the relevant facts
and evidence.
At
least 14 days before the date of the settlement conference, each
party must serve on every other party a copy of any document to be
relied upon at the trial and a list of proposed witnesses (Form
13A).
