Claims Court Lawyer - Fees.
The cost of the first consultation is
$105 (including $5 GST). The consultation includes one-hour discussion
of the facts and legal opinion on the law applicable to your situation,
brief explanation of Small Claims Court procedure and provision of all
necessary blank Small Claims Court forms. At the end of the initial
consultation the lawyer provides an estimate for the representation.
The fees
are in compliance with Small Claims Court costs award limits and may be
recoverable when court decides in your favour, up to the limit of 15% of the
amount of the judgment.
